Rin was born and raised in the White Palace, a city-sized fortress built mostly of ice and located in the far north beyond Willat.

Story[]

A daughter of a Northern noble family, Rin became fed up with the harsh training of her sister Ansloma and fled south on the newly established railways. Finding trouble, friends, and excitement previously unknown to her, she sought the trail of her lost brother, Dravil.

When she learned that Dravil had descended into the Underlands in search of the legendary Village of the Keepers, she followed him into caverns far below the earth.

When she finally found her brother, he was under attack by a mysterious cloaked swordsman and an army of stone beasts. Rushing to his aid, Rin turned the tide of the battle. In the aftermath, as Dravil remained behind to repair and restore the archives of the keepers, Rin joined John Strong Stevenson to help him seek the ancient dryad who had written the text they both sought. From there, she would accompany John and Kora to Relecour, partly at Dravil's urging and partly because... well, how would they make it without her?

Powers & Abilities[]

Rin's attacks apply Frost Counters. These wear off after time, unless Rin keeps up pressure with repeated hits. Rin's attacks allow her to exploit Frost to gain bonuses to power or to reduce the opponent's mobility.
